With its beautiful hidden beaches and breathtaking cliff top views of the ocean, Uluwatu packs a very chill vibe — perfect for a relaxing (but fun!) getaway with your BFF.

On a much-needed yogi retreat? You’re definitely in the right place. Uluwatu’s becoming the new Ubud but with way better views: picture doing sun salutations on your mat while overlooking the Indian Ocean. Priceless! Join the Morning Light Yoga folk in a beautiful, large, shady open-air shala at Uluwatu Surf Villas. Namaste, indeed!

Breakfast smoothie bowls are pretty much everywhere in Bali these days, and you can definitely find a good one at any of Uluwatu’s cozy health cafes. Our favourite: the Tropical Smoothie Bowl at Single Fin. Finish off with a Kombucha or a fresh juice mix and you’re both set for the day!

Known for its day-to-night parties, OMNIA is one of the hottest clubs down south, perched high on the tip of a cliff. It’s a great one to go to if you’re up for meeting people - be warned, it does get really busy so head there early.
Of course, a trip to Bali is not complete without epic sunsets and some great eats— yes, Uluwatu’s now home to some of the best restaurants instead of just surf-break warungs. We’d recommend the chic Ulu Cliffhouse, the neighbourhood’s newest beach club that serves incredible food and drinks alongside one of the best sunset views on the island. AMAZING!

Like anywhere else on the island, Uluwatu’s not short on beautiful villas and resorts. If you’re yet to book a place, we’d recommend Mahagiri Villas & Spa Dreamland, the super cozy boho-style Sal Secret Spot Bungalow or get panoramic hilltop views from your private plunge pool at Hideaway Villas Bali.
