The Pontiac Stardust
The Pontiac Stardust is a cosmic road trip thru 1950’s/60’s Palm Springs. A progressive cocktail bar inspired by the art and energy of mid-century modern Palm Springs, this is a culture not a concept helmed by award-winning bartender, Beckaly Franks. Reinvention with continued ethos and drive.
Dubbed the First Lady of Mixology, Beckaly is the first female mixologist to win the prestigious 42 Below Cocktail World Cup. Prior to moving to Bali she was in Hong Kong running sister venue The Pontiac, a craft-dive bar which has been a fixture on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars list for 4 years in a row. Before that she was most recently lead bartender at celebrated restaurant Clyde Common in Portland, which boasts four-time James Beard nominated program, four Tales of the Cocktail World’s Best Hotel Bar nominations, and numerous accolades from the New York Times, Esquire, Playboy, and the Wall Street Journal. Beckaly is also a widely recognized expert in American whiskey.
About The Owners
The Pontiac Stardust is a collaboration between Beckaly Franks, the Roopchand Brothers (Co-Founders of venues such as The Pontiac, Rummin’ Tings and Amalfitana in Hong Kong) and The Dandy Partnership (Founders of hotspots including Neon Pigeon, Fat Prince, and Summerlong in Singapore). The Pontiac Stardust in its new partnership, is a follow up to The Pontiac Hong Kong, a fixture on the prestigious “Asia’s 50 Best Bars” list for 4 years in a row since its inception and was voted #32 in 2019.
